The M. Des.. in Fashion Design Program at Pearl Academy aims at giving students a thorough blend of theoretical learning, practical experience, skill building and cultural understanding.

The M. Des.. in Fashion Design Program is offered across campuses in Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur and Bangalore, with a curriculum that reflects the current needs of the Fashion Industry. Master's students can expect to develop a solid base for fashion followed by technical skills, exposure to market trends and opportunities in India's diverse Fashion & Lifestyle Design Industry. Through hands-on learning, internships, collaborations and projects, the program fosters responsible design thinking among the students.

• The M. Des.. in Fashion Design accepts graduates from different streams and academic backgrounds to encourage diverse learning experiences within the batch.
• The Fashion Design program gives students access to modern, well-equipped labs where they can explore different tech tools like 3D printing, Laser Cutting, Digital Printing, Computerised Embroidery and Knitting Machines, as well as AI and Machine Learning tools, giving them an edge once they start their careers.
• The curriculum is holistic, with a mix of theoretical and hands-on activities to help students enter the fashion, textile & lifestyle design industry. It begins with the fundamentals of design that forms the basis for future learning.
• After learning the basics, students are taught relevant software skills, covering in-demand software used by many fashion and textile houses. By taking these programs, students will be able to conceptualise and design with the aid of multiple softwares. From designing to pattern cutting, embroidery and print placement, they will learn to execute a design from scratch to finish.
• Equipped with access to facilities, projects and opportunities designed to maximise practical learning, students get a crucial headstart over their contemporaries as they prepare to enter the industry upon graduation.
• The M. Des.. in Fashion Design also teaches design thinking, innovation, and sustainability through a process-driven approach.
• Students are encouraged to build designs hands-on, and showcase their abilities through studio projects, live projects in the industry, collaborations, shows and internships. All these activities help them build a portfolioa unique body of work that reflects each student's ability.
• At the Master's level, the 2-year program aims to develop creative leadership and fosters an entrepreneurial spirit in the students, which prepares them for the demands of the fashion, apparel, textile and lifestyle industries in India.
